Some rally that was ! The first real rally in the historic car, great result.1st in class 11. Even though the class was amalgated with the porches we still get max points in the Historic championship class.
It started fine on the first stage then went downhill from there.The new brakes developed a problem so we had to do 2 stages with fluid spraying on to the wheel and a spongy pedal. In the Sat morning we changed on to a new set of smaller calipers which didnt slow the car ! so it was a surival run from then on... Well orgnised rally and great crack.. Hope to go to the Cork 20 in september now so watch this space.
